current social bookmarking sites

It seems everyone likes to call the various bookmarking sites "social bookmarking".

Now, I might agree that is it "public" bookmarking, but where is the social aspect to it?

Exactly!

The social bookmarking sites I see are all "one way". There may be public bookmarking and "promotion" of your bookmarks, but I fail to see any coherent method of socialization on these sites.

I have to agree I am really confused on where social comes into the picture. I really don't see any socialization on these sites either.
